OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
ADDITIONAL ARCHES: The design of the arch building enables you to add 2' or 2000' of length to your American Steel Span building at anytime. All American Steel Span parts and supplies are delivered Factory Direct to your location.
BOLTS: One size nut and bolt fits throughout the entire building. Bolts supplied by American Steel Span are corrosion resistant with a 5/16 hex head bolt with a square locking nut with a polyethylene washer for a watertight seal.
BASE CONNECTORS: American Steel Span has commercial base connectors that are the perfect application to retrofit our building to your existing slab, footer or block wall. Base connectors are Manufactured from heavy commercial steel and are available with a double bolt to arch to plate connection.
COLORED ENDWALLS AND ARCHES: American Steel Span's colored endwalls & arches are siliconized polyester coated from Akzo Nobel paints a leading producer of paints, finishes and synthetic resins for industrial Applications. Choose from 5 panel colors and 4 trim colors.
ENERGY STAR® Approved Paint
Paint warranty of 40 years against - Chipping - Blistering - Cracking - Pealing. ENERGY STAR® approved paint with reflective qualities to help save on energy bills. Choose from a variety of colors for arches, endwalls and trim using Akzo Nobel Ceram-A-Star 1050® Enhances building appearance for a finished look.
DOOR
LIGHT PANEL: Our door lights are made of heavy duty fiberglass that resists
cracking and delivers a tremendous amount of sunlight to brighten up areas
without using electricity.
ENDWALL TRIM KITS: American Steel Span's deluxe trim kits enable you to
customize your endwalls with local material with no hassles. All American Steel
Span's Steel parts and supplies are delivered Factory Direct to your location.
FRAMED OPENINGS: Heavy duty commercial vertical and horizontal steel doors jambs as well as Header flashing completes your open endwall allowing simple installation of doors.
INSULATION: American Steel Span offers two different types of insulation. A vapor-lock composite System, which consists of polyethylene air bubble pockets, sandwiched between thick layers of reflective coatings. Secondly, a traditional wmp-vr fiberglass Insulation with a white reinforced vinyl facing (1 side) from Guardian Fiberglass Which comes in a range of "R" values from "R"-10 to "R"- 19. Insulation is easily attached to arches and endwall with a pin and washer system.
SKYLIGHTS: There's nothing better than natural light, our preformed skylights reduce electric bills, easily installed by omitting a roof panel and bolting into place Skylight is recommended every for every 20' of building. NOTE: Not available in heavy snow load areas.
OVERHEAD DOORS: Quality garage doors are offered with standard lift or low headroom. American Steel Span can provide additional door features such as insulation or Half glass panels. Roll up doors with chain hoist and operators are also available.
SLIDING DOORS: Heavy duty double or quad sliding doors are available for large equipment or hangar applications. Door are sealed top, bottom and sides and come With and exterior latch.
SERVICE DOORS: Service doors allows for easy access to your American Steel Span building. Available in two sizes 3'w x 7'h and 6'w x 7'h. Our all-steel insulated doors can be installed in the ends or sides of your building. All doors are pre-framed and pre-hung and come standard with stainless steel hinges and a stainless steel keyed lockset.
TURBINE VENTS: Turbine ventilators and adapters help eliminate condensation (1) recommended every 20' of building.
MANUALS: We are with you every step of the way! Full pictorial construction and foundation manuals outline every process of building from clearing your site to turning the last nut and bolt.
STAMPED DRAWINGS: Professionally engineered drawings are available for all fifty states.
Galvalume® COATED STEEL
Galvalume® is an aluminum-zinc coated steel that provides extra corrosion protection. The cost of Galvalume® is about the same as that of galvanized steel.
Galvalume® offers the best qualities of aluminum-coated (aluminized) and zinc-coated (galvanized) steels. It has barrier corrosion resistance and heat resistance similar to aluminized and good bare edge galvanic protection and forming qualities like galvanized. So, Galvalume® will resist rust, the elements and fire while providing a sturdy and protective covering.
Currently, uses for Galvalume® include car mufflers, standing seam roofing, tubing for fences, greenhouses, steel buildings and much more. Galvalume® offers excellent cost-effectiveness, which we pass on to our customers. 35 year perforation guarantee backed by U.S. steel mills.
CORROSION RESISTANCE
Galvalume®, by virtue of its combined protection of aluminum and zinc, has at least twice the service life, in most atmospheric environments, of conventional galvanized steel with the same coating thickness.
In a series of exposure tests performed over a 13-year period by Bethlehem Steel, Galvalume® steel was found to outlast galvanized by:

Four times in exposure tests in a severe marine environment.

Twice as long in a less severe marine location.

Six times longer in industrial environments.

Three times longer in rural situations.
HIGH TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
Galvalume® steel resists intermediate and high temperatures far more effectively than galvanized steel.
Specifically, Galvalume® steel shows no discoloration up to 315°C (600°F) during continuous or intermittent exposure over a prolonged period. Above this temperature, some discoloration does occur and roughening of the surface is possible. Neither this discoloration nor roughening, however, reduces Galvalume®'s resistance to rust. Galvalume® maintains its rust-resistance up to 675°C (1,250°F).

A-Series A-Model building features a 4:12 roof pitch ideal for steel garages, workshops and equipment storage in high-snow load areas. Available up to 40’ wide with unlimited lengths.
P-Series With its high sidewall clearance, the P-Model is perfect for a residential garage or workshop, a single or multiple car garage, equipment shelter, garden shed and more. Ranging in size from 14’ to 30’' wide with unlimited lengths, these versatile buildings can be easily customized to fit your home's decor.
S-Series The S-Model is great for: storage sheds, warehouse construction, barns, factory and distribution centers, and more. This model boasts high sidewall clearance for maximum vertical storage and a column-free interior for maximum floor space. The S-Series range in sizes from 16’ to 50’ wide with unlimited lengths.
